View RecordsMaryland lets drivers obtain their own driving records through MVA, with certified and non-certified options and different record periods.
Maryland MVA says a driver can view, print, or order their own certified or non-certified driving record through myMVA. The MVA describes a complete driving record and a three-year driving record as separate options.
| Choice | Use | Delivery/meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Non-certified own record | Personal review | $12 per copy (checked October 2, 2026); download a non-certified PDF through myMVA to view/print immediately |
| Certified own record | When an official MVA-sealed copy is required | $15 per copy (checked October 2, 2026); order through myMVA and expect the certified copy by mail to your address on MVA’s file, rather than an immediate certified PDF |
| Complete record | Broader driving history | Includes the categories described by MVA |
| Three-year record | Recent three-year history | Narrower period |
Requests for another person’s record require authorization or another permitted basis described by MVA, rather than unrestricted public access.
Use the official MVA account route. Without myMVA, complete and sign DR-057, then bring it to any MVA branch or mail it with the applicable record fee to Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration, 6601 Ritchie Highway, N.E., Room 102, Glen Burnie, Maryland 21062.
Certified or non-certified; complete or three-year.
Make sure the record belongs to you and is current. DR-057 asks for the subject’s name, date of birth, license number and address, your requester/contact details, record type, purpose, signature and date. MVA identity verification also uses your legal name, birth date, current address and Social Security number as required; provide those details only to MVA.
